The Finnish climate is not very continental or not very maritime.

The annual variation between the coldest and the warmest month in Finland may even be 27 - 28° C. This kind of large variation is typical of continental climate. However, the Finnish climate does not belong to any extreme type, not in respect of temperature changes (thermic), or rain ratios (hygric).
