In our Buzz about digipedagogy (Digipedaporinoita) blog, we write about current topics on digital pedagogy and tell about our services

Digipedagogy and Video Services produces its own videocast series on digital pedagogy. At the same time, alongside the videocast series, we also opened this blog with the same name. This is the first text of our blog. I'm glad you found this one!

In Digipedagogy and Video Services, we offer support for teaching planning and teaching in the digital environments of the University of Oulu and Oamk. Our team has versatile expertise in digipedagogy and video production. We offer support and training for online teaching, student activation in digital environments, distance and hybrid teaching, the use of videos in teaching, as well as instructions and training on digital accessibility.

On the university side, our services also include video studio services: We run the University of Oulu's own, wonderful Studio Lipasto, where the university produces video broadcasts for the public audience. The studio has good opportunities for live broadcasts and making recordings in a comfortable environment on the Linnanmaa campus. Our studio organizes, among other things, science lectures and live discussion broadcasts on current topics. You can watch the University of Oulu videos on YouTube, they were made at Studio Lipasto.

Studio Lipasto is managed by studio experts from ICT services Digipedagogy and Video Services team: Jenna Jantunen takes care of shooting and editing Lipasto's conversation broadcasts and recordings, while Harri Hämeenkorpi and Kalervo Kalliorinne are mainly responsible for the production of high-quality, long-term educational videos in Studio Klippi.

We publish content mostly in Finnish, but sometimes we highlight topics in English as well. In the next blog post, we will publish the first Digipedaporinoita videocast. Stay tuned and follow the publications! We share information about upcoming blog posts in the intranets of Oulu's universities and in our own networks.
