All November has been mild and cloudy (several snow-, wet snow- and watershowers). Not until now (at the turn of November-December)
is snowing more in Lappland. But the temperature is still close to zero (celcius) - like in the greenhause-winter...
The dwarf schrubs in the forests are not proberly covered by snow - the animals (like hare and willow grouse)
can feed the shoots and chances of weather can damage they.

At last about Christmas time the good snowfalls come, but still in many areas in North Finland the snowcover was 20 - 30 cm dick, only.
The dwarfshrubs piip out from the snow. It has been some severe cold periods in Lapland. We hope, that the dwarfshrubs are still living...
