Markku Niskanen

My interests cover a fairly broad range. In addition to bioanthropology, archaeology, cultural anthropology and history, I am also interested in zoology. I am particularly interested in the effects of environmental (e.g. climatic) and cultural changes on human and animal biology. This includes effects of artificial selection on animals. I have focused on morphology, genetics, prehistory and history of horses during the past three years.
