Fairuz Muthana

I am PhD candidate in gender studies at the University of Oulu.
My research is on honour based violence from an anti-racist perspective. The purpose of the study is to analyze the phenomenon’s pervasiveness, and provide the racialized women an opportunity to speak on their experiences of violence whilst simultaneously collaborate with the law enforcing agents in order to ameliorate services provided for women seeking aid.
