Information for Guests
For the convenience of the participants and guests of the Conferment Festivities of the University of Oulu, special priced accommodation is being offered in Oulu city center for 17-19 May 2024. The special priced rooms are available until 17th of April in both hotels.
The bookings should be made by using the below mentioned code and the contact information given by the hotel in question.
After the Conferment Banquet on Saturday there is a Ball with old dances. Rehearsals for the Ball will be organized during spring 2024. Dances will be taught by Tuula Jalava.
It is possible to practice dances with the help of these videos.
You can attend the rehearsals even if you do not have a dance partner since pairs can be formed on the rehearsals.
Please take clean shoes with you. You can wear high heel shoes, but not thin, stiletto heels.
