Library services and opening hours during the holiday season (16.12.2024–6.1.2025)

The holiday season affects library services and opening hours 16.12.2024–6.1.2025. Library's comprehensive e-resources are at your use 24/7 via Oula-Finna and you can access them off campus with your University of Oulu or Oamk user ID also during the holidays!

Changes in library services during the holiday season

  • There will be no due dates for the loans between 23.12.2024 and 6.1.2025
  • You can return your loans to the outside returns boxes in Pegasus Library and Medical Library when the libraries are closed. The returns box in the Health and Social Care Library is in use during campus opening hours. The Oulainen Learning Centre returns box is not in use when the library is closed.   • Pegasus Library’s Information Service point is closed 30.–31.12.2024 and 2.–3.1.2025 Information Service is available only remotely at 11:00-14:00 (see contact information).

Medical Library

Self-service use of the library is possible with a University of Oulu student's 24/7 Campus Card.

Health and Social Care Library
18.–20.12. open 8:00-15:00

Self-service hour on opening days from 8 to 9. No phone service during the self-service hour.

Self-service library is available for use every day 7:30-21:00 with a separate electronic access key (for Oamk/OSAO Kontinkangas students and staff).

The returns box in front of the library can be accessed during the opening hours of the Paasi building. During the holiday season Paasi is open as follows: xxxx [lisätään tämä jos tarpeen/tiedossa].

Oulainen Learning Centre
Library is closed 20.12.2024–6.1.2025. No self-service use when the library is closed. The library returns box is not in use during the library closure.
