Welcome to the campuses of the University of Oulu
The main campus in Linnanmaa is home to Faculty of Education and Psychology, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Technology and Oulu Business School. Linnanmaa Campus is known for its colourful architecture.
The Oulu University of Applied Sciences operates also at the Linnanmaa Campus.
Kontinkangas Welfare Campus consists of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine and the University Hospital of Oulu.
You can easily reach our campuses by cycling, public transport or your own car. We encourage staff and students to cycle by increasing locker room spaces and improving equipment levels in bike parks.

Restaurants and cafes
There are several restaurants and cafes of Juvenes and Uniresta at Linnanmaa campus. At Kontinkangas campus there are Sodexo's restaurant Medisiina.
Botanical garden
The Botanical Garden of the University of Oulu is one of the northernmost scientific gardens in the world. Established to meet the needs of teaching and research, the garden also brings a diverse plant world for the public to see.
Fab Lab Oulu
At Fab Lab, you can design your own products and hardware, for example, using a 3D printer and laser surgery, and participate in workshops and events.
