I am a post-doctoral researcher in History of Sciences and Ideas. My main research interests focus on the history of medical thinking in both scientific, spiritual/religious, and social contexts. I have conducted research on the history of medicalization of suicide, history of social psychiatry, history of social engineering and, most recently, history of stress and history of obesity related discourses. In my teaching, I use, for example, the lecture series of histories of suicide or psychiatry to examine and illustrate long period development in the history sciences, ideas and philosophy, starting from the antiquity to the modern era.
