Bachelor's Admissions: Deadlines

Deadline for submitting your ACT/SAT test results on the online application and to the University of Oulu: March 31, 2025, 15:00/3pm (GMT+3).

PLEASE NOTE that if you are using a document OTHER THAN your ACT/SAT results to demonstrate your language skills, the deadline for submitting the document on your Studyinfo online application (together with your other application documents) is January 29, 2025, 15:00/3pm (GMT+2).

Please submit your predicted grades on your online application.

Admissions results for Bachelor's programmes are published in May 2025.

Last day to confirm your study place.

All students accepted need to confirm their study place with the following schedule: July 10, 2025, 15:00 / 3 pm (GMT+3)

Confirm the offered place electronically through the link in your email notification. Please note that you can only accept one study place per term.

If you don’t confirm your study place by the due date, you will lose the study place.

Applicants who are admitted to Bachelor's programme and are graduating with higher secondary educational degree on spring/summer 2025 - Last day to provide the Degree certificate and transcript of records.

Applicants, who receive a conditional offer of study placement must submit certified copies of the final certificate by this date. Failure to do so will result in study place cancellation.

Please note that failure to verify your educational documents on time will result in cancellation of your study place!

Applicants who receive a study offer must verify their educational documents according to given instructions and send them to University of Oulu. Remember to verify your documents according to given instructions. If you are unsure which documents to verify and how, please see our How to verify your educational documents page for instructions.

Please note that we will process the verified documents after this date, which means it may take some time for you to receive confirmation. Please wait patiently while we process your documents and then inform you once they have been checked and the possible conditionality of your study offer has been removed.

Last day to pay the tuition fee for citizens of non-EU/EAA countries.

The tuition fee must be paid by July 10, 2025. Failure to pay will result in revoking of the study right for the academic year 2025-2026.

Academic year begins with the Orientation for new students starting early September onwards. Dates to be confirmed later.

All students are required to present their original certificates and transcript of records before starting their studies.
