The course focuses on the concept of employability and how it can be developed for successful entrance into the work market. The participants are provided with useful techniques and approaches for a better understanding of the employers wants and needs. There are tools to identify their skills and their competences and there is guidance on how to start planning for a future career. Additionally, the course prepares the students to write successful job applications and to create a strong personal brand. It will also prepare participants for job interviews.

Upon completion of the course the participating doctoral students will be able to:
- better understand their own professional competences and will be able to articulate their strengths.
- learn the essentials of successful job seeking and develop an understanding of how to position themselves in the work-market.
