Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- describe his/her own research in a way that is optimal for research grant proposals
- recognize what information and skills are required to write a research grant proposal
- plan for applying for funding as part of graduate studies
- list key funding agencies
- recognize what impact and end users his/her research has
