11th Doctoral Conferment Ceremony of the University of Oulu
University of Oulu will hold its 11th Doctoral Conferment Ceremony, arranged jointly by all faculties, on May 27–29, 2022. The Conferment Ceremony was originally scheduled for spring 2020 but due to the coronavirus pandemic it has been moved to the spring of 2022.

The Conferment Ceremony will gather Young Doctors, invited guests, Honorary Doctors and Jubilee Doctors. Jubilee Doctors were confirmed in the first Doctoral Conferment Ceremony of the University of Oulu 50 years ago.
There is a possibility to follow the Conferment Ceremony on 28 May 12 pm onwards in a stream.
University community members and City of Oulu residents are warmly welcome to follow the conferment procession in the centre of Oulu on Saturday 28 May, 3.30 pm. The procession proceeds from Mannerheim Park along Kirkkokatu to Oulu Cathedral. The procession has a weather reservation: in rainy weather, it is not organized.
