You are warmly invited to experience the traditional Christmas of the Sailor's Home Museum on Oulu's Pikisaari island (Pikisaarentie 6), close to the city centre.

At the Sailor's Home Museum (Merimiehen kotimuseo), Christmas traditions, music, fairytale moments and a Christmas calendar will take you to the old-time Finnish Christmas atmosphere.

The entry to the museum is free and guidance is available in English during this Christmas season! Also note that in the museum shop, you can find unique Christmas gifts.

As the museum is rather small, we kindly ask you to confirm below when you would like to visit the museum. We recommend that you reserve 30-45 minutes for the visit. Register for the English-guided visit on Webropol!

Note that one reservation per group is sufficient. With a steadier flow of visitors, there is more space to enjoy in your own pace!
