International Evening at the UniOulu - Pre-Midsummer Edition (incl. live music)

The University of Oulu warmly invites all the members of our Uni community and their family members to a relaxed international pre-midsummer evening organised at the Botanical Garden (Science Garden premises) on Friday, June 10. The event is free and open for all the University of Oulu community members, domestic and international!

The event serves as a platform for all our university community members to spend time together in a meaningful way, experience arts and cultures, and meet new people.

Event Program:

• 15:30 Doors open;
• 15:45-16:25 Guided greenhouse tour (alternative option: time for free networking, light snacks and drinks are offered to all the guests);
• 16:30-17:15 Live music performance by the international string quartet formed by members of Oulu Symphony Orchestra;
• 16:30-18:00 Craft corner and games for children;
• 17:15-18:30 Photobooth with a professional photographer (the pictures will be shared with all the attendees after the event);
• 17:30-18:30 Family-friendly gardening activities (you will be able to take your plants home);
• 17:15-19:00 Time for free networking, light snacks and drinks are offered to all the guests;
• 17:15-19:00 Info on how to get involved in international event organizing on our campuses and the possibility to suggest events for the next academic year (event info point at the entrance).
