International Extracellular Matrix Pharmacology Congress – ECM2022

The aim of the ECM2022 congress is to focus on the development of new drugs targeting the extracellular matrix and improve our understanding of changes to the extracellular matrix across chronic diseases.

Alterations to the extracellular matrix are a common denominator in most chronic diseases. It is not merely a consequence of the diseases but an active driver. Creating a forum for experts to discuss, share and learn from other disease fields will be essential for patients and future drug development. A forum will help increase the understanding of the extracellular matrix across chronic diseases and accelerate the development of drugs targeting the extracellular matrix.
