Location
Hosio earned his doctoral degree in 2014, becoming the first Finnish scholar to graduate under the Ph.D. scholarship program of Microsoft Research Cambridge. He was appointed as an Associate Professor in the GenZ strategic profiling theme of the University of Oulu in 2020 and as mentioned above, he now serves as the head of the Crowd Computing Research Group. He has received, among others, the Research Council of Finland’s Postdoctoral Researcher and Academy Research Fellowship funding. Currently, Hosio is a Visiting Researcher at the University of Tokyo.

Everyone is invited to come hear more about this award-winning researchers’ career and research. The interview will be held at the Tellus Stage on Linnanmaa campus on Tuesday 14 May 2024 from 12 to 1 pm. Coffee and cake will be served. Please register for the event as spaces are limited. This Meet the Top Scientist event is hosted by Infotech Oulu.
