Researchers' Night is a multidisciplinary event for the whole family to highlight scientists and their work, as well as the importance of science in our everyday life and society.

At the Researchers' Night you get to know science and our researchers by participating in workshops and exhibitions and following general presentations about science. There is a wide range of program numbers of interest for all ages.

The event area is the University's Linnanmaa campus and the Botanical Garden of the University of Oulu. The city train Potnapekka will transport the public free of charge between the campus and the garden from 5 to 9 pm.

Researchers' Night will be celebrated also in Sodankylä Geophysical Observatory with a separate programme.

Researchers' Night is a Europe-wide and Finland's largest science event, traditionally celebrated on the last Friday of September. At the University of Oulu, Researchers Night is now held for the seventh time.

We will publish the diverse programme of the Researchers' Night in August!
