Save the date − GeoDays 2025 in Oulu

Welcome to the third GeoDays organized at the University of Oulu! The seminar brings together geoscientists and actors from different fields.

Preliminary program:

11.3.2025: Education events, Workshops, and Icebreaker
12.3.2025: 1st Seminar Day, open for all (at 9-16 + poster session)
13.3.2025: 2nd Seminar Day, open for all (at 9-16)

Languages of the events are English, Finnish and Swedish.

To develop the content of the occasion, organizing committee invites proposals to thematic sessions, workshops, and project events. Please, send your suggestions to pertti.sarala@oulu.fi.


Schedule - Abstract submission and selection of presentations

Mon 13.1.2025: Abstract submission system opens
- If you are interested in holding a speech or presenting a poster in the event, please use template given here to create your abstract

Fri 7.2.2025: Last day to submit an abstract
- Please, submit your abstract via this link (Webropol)

Fri 14.2.2025: Selections are published and next step info sent to all who submitted the abstract


Registration

Registration system is opened on week number 3 for basic participants (non presenters) and sponsors.
The persons who submitted the abstract will get their own instructions on Friday 14.2.2025.
Last day to register for all participants (selected speakers/poster presenters, basic attendees, invited speakers, sponsors) is 28.2.2025.
