In the first seminar on 13 October 2022, Professor Salvador Eslava from Department of Chemical Engineering, Imperial College London (UK), will present his work and perspectives on photocatalysis and photoelectrocatalysis with perovskite-based nanocomposites.

In addition, Dr. Josep Albero Sancho from Instituto de Tecnología Química (ITQ) of Valencia, will give insights on the role of interface in heterojunction-based photocatalysts in photocatalytic water splitting.

You can attend onsite in the lecture room PR104 (Linnanmaa campus) or online, and no registration is required. The seminar might interest especially students and staff of the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Technology.

Seminars cover topics in the field of materials chemistry, catalysis and photocatalysis, as well as nanoscience, and in the seminars you can learn about the latest trends in research areas and share ideas and thoughts with other community members. The series will continue from there every 2 months. Seminars are organized by postdoctoral researcher of the NANOMO research unit; Dr. Filipp Temerov, Dr Rossella Greco and Dr. Javier Fernández-Catalá.
