The Board looked at next year's funding – the decision regarding change negotiations was postponed

Based on the preliminary information provided by the ministry, the total funding of the University of Oulu would increase by approximately five million euros compared to the current year. The final amounts will be specified based on the ministry's autumn calculations. The increase compared to the current year is about three percent, but at the same time the inflation level, i.e. the general increase in the cost level, is significantly higher.

The Board also discussed about the long term vision of campus development.

The item on the agenda about starting change negotiations at the Faculty of Medicine was postponed to the next meeting.
