Changes in the PhD thesis process final stage in UniOGS

UniOGS is the new contact point when starting the pre-examination process or applying permission to defend the thesis. Electronic forms for these processes are available now.

The University of Oulu Graduate School is now handling the applications for the PhD thesis defence process and we advice you to contact uniogs(at)oulu.fi in all matters related to examination or approval of the doctoral thesis from now on.

In addition, the applications will be now available as electronic forms in the eForms:

  • UniOGS_Nomination of pre-examiners (former Permission to defend, A & B form)
  • UniOGS_Nomination of the opponent and custos (former Permission to defend, C form)
