Completion of the series on thermodynamic descriptions for modeling the solidification of steel

We are happy to announce the publication of the fourth part in the series detailing the iron alloy database (IAD) contained in the IDS software.

This fourth and final part provides nitrogen-containing thermodynamic descriptions of the Fe–Al–Cr–Cu–Mn–Mo–Ni–Si–C–N system and marks the completion of a long-term effort to provide robust yet simple thermodynamic descriptions for modeling the solidification of steels.
