Deadline extended: Call for proposals for International cooperation in the field of Arctic research

Now open in Thule Institute Call for proposals 1/2022 for International cooperation in the field of Arctic research. The deadline has been extended to May 31, 2022.

The Call for proposals is for International cooperation in the field of Arctic research,

especially

  • organizing or participating in EU/international project preparation meetings
  • research and education activities in the University of Arctic Thematic Networks, Arctic Five collaboration, or others in the Arctic
  • introduction and promotion of the research profile of Arctic research groups at the University of Oulu (external services for high quality videos* or other electronic presentations of the research groups).

Who can apply?

  • researchers (postdoctoral researchers, senior research fellows, professors) or research groups at the University of Oulu.

This targeted call is open for all principal investigators or the heads of the research groups at the University of Oulu. You can propose actions, which strongly promote and initiate international cooperation between research groups in the fields of Arctic science. Networking or communication actions should have at least two partners including at least one international partner.

The total funding allocated to this call is 20 000 €. The total sum of one grant can vary between 2500-6000€. The grant must be used before the end of October 2022.
