Degree student´s study right for Open University studies

Open university summer studies are organized by the Open University and the Summer University of Northern Ostrobothnia. See Open University summer studies

Most of the open studies organized by the Summer University of Northern Ostrobothnia are free of charge for basic degree students who have enrolled in the University of Oulu and registered for attendance. Studies must be included in student´s personal study plan (PSP). A student may complete free of charge only studies that are not already completed. It is not allowed to complete studies for raising a grade of a study attainment. Please note that major subject studies must be completed in instruction organized by the faculty. It is not possible for degree student to complete major subject studies at the Summer University of Northern Ostrobothnia for free. Exceptions are made for very enforced or essential reasons only (serious illness, delay of graduation) with a decision made by Education Dean of the faculty. In this case, please contact Academic Affairs Service Team of your faculty.
