Do you want to learn more about innovation and IPR rights? Join the European Patent Office's innovation course!
The University of Oulu started a collaboration last autumn with the European Patent Office (EPO) regarding the teaching of intellectual property rights through the Modular IP Education Framework (MIPEF). As part of this collaboration, EPO offers a training course that gives our master's and doctoral students the opportunity to participate in an online course in English: "Create – Protect – Innovate: Bringing Ideas to Market"
The course consists of two parts (entry + advanced, 3 + 3 ECTS credits), each containing five self-paced modules. Both parts are available in both the spring and autumn semesters. You must complete the entry-level course before progressing to the advanced course.
Would you like to participate in the course?
Both courses can be found in the Peppi system with the following course codes: DP00AU63 (Entry) and DP00AZ38 (Advanced).
The courses are conducted online and include three live sessions (with two alternative time slots for each session).
Registration is now open and closes on March 20, 2025.
See the detailed course program here.
