Donation collection and support event on March 2 because of Turkey-Syria earthquakes

The collection of donations is organised in cooperation with the Finnish Red Cross. The collection takes place by the green coat racks at Linnanmaa campus from 10.00 to 15.00. It is possible to donate using your own phone. The funds collected will be directed towards the disaster relief fund. So far, 300,000 euros have been directed from the disaster relief fund towards the International Red Cross aid operations in Syria and Turkey.

A separate support event takes place from 16.00 to 18.00 at the Science Garden. The informal get-together is open for anyone who has close ties, family or friends in Turkey or Syria, or is otherwise distressed by the crisis or the news from it. Please register here for the event.
