EASES comes to Oulu

5th European Academic Symposium on EAF Steelmaking (EASES) will be held at the University of Oulu on 05-07 June 2023. The event is organised jointly by the RWTH Aachen University and University of Oulu and features an international scientific committee with members from Finland, Germany, Slovenia, and Italy.

Previously, the EASES has been held four times at the RWTH Aachen University in Germany with contributions from both research institutes and companies. Please see the attached announcement flyer and look at the conference website (https://www.eases.rwth-aachen.de).

We offer two options for the submission:

  • Presentation only
  • Presentation and full paper

As the first step, we invite you to send us your abstract indicating the kind of contribution. The abstract should be in English and have no more than 2500 characters. The abstract can be submitted at the website or sent via e-mail to: seminar@iob.rwth-aachen.de. After acceptance of the abstract, you will be invited to submit a full paper. We are currently studying possibilities to publish the full papers as a special issue by a scientific publisher.

The deadline for abstract submission is 15th January 2023.
