The first student newsletter will be sent soon – follow your email!

We will start a student newsletter at the University of Oulu in April 2023. The newsletter contains the most important news and events for students in Finnish and English. You will receive a newsletter to your university email once a month. In June and July, the letter is on a break.

The newsletter complements other communications of the University. You will find the latest news and future events also on Tuudo app and on the students’ page in Oulu.fi service, which contains also the instructions for students. In addition, you can also choose to see, for example, news on your degree programme, on Tuudo.

We examined the experiences and wishes of undergraduate and exchange students regarding the university's communications by means of a survey, conducted by Taloustutkimus in January – February 2023. 71% of the respondents said that they would like to receive a monthly university newsletter, which would gather the most important news and events for students. We are now responding to this request.
