Funding for Summer and Winter Schools
This is your chance for a unique experience of learning and developing yourself! Apply for funding for participating in an international summer/winter school in 2023. The call is open to all students studying at the University of Oulu. The University of Oulu offers grants for at least 10 students, funded by the Talent Boost project. It should be noted that these grants are not available for summer schools that are organised in the student’s home country.
What:
Summer schools are usually one- or two-week intensive academic programmes organized at European or overseas universities. Summer schools have the purpose of advancing the knowledge and developing the skills of the students. The organiser does not need to be a current UniOulu partner institution - you can search for a suitable programme by browsing universities’ websites.

Who:
The call is addressed to all students studying for a degree at the University of Oulu (Bachelor's or Master's). The requirement for receiving the grant is that the studies will be included in the student’s degree studies. Students who are not going on student exchange in the academic year 2023-2024 will be prioritized in the selections. Grants are between 2000-4000€ per student consisting of summer school participation fee and travel support.
When:
The call is ongoing until all the funding has been used. First come, first served!
