Group work spaces in the library

All Oulu University Library locations have spaces designed for group work. Bookable group study rooms are freely available to all library customers when there are no reservations.

Pegasus Library group study rooms are located on the second and third floor of the library. The group study rooms on the second floor of the library are located in the 24/7 campus area of the students of University of Oulu, so university students can also use these spaces outside the library's opening hours. During the library's opening hours, these group work spaces are available to all library customers.

University of Oulu students can book Pegasus group study rooms with O365 calendars or through the Cella application. See the instructions for booking group study rooms. Oamk students cannot reserve Pegasus group study rooms, but the group study rooms are freely available to all customers when they are not reserved. Library's second and third floor lobby areas and the third floor Maisemasali also have groups of tables suitable for group work.

The group work spaces located in the Medical Library are reserved through Tellus Kontinkangas. Facilities in the Health and Social Care Library can be reserved by Oamk students and staff via their email calendar. Read library-specific information about the facilities on the library's website: Facilities and equipment.

Remember these rules:

  • Group study rooms are intended for groups of at least two people.
  • The booking expires if the booker has not arrived within 15 minutes.
  • Group study rooms are freely available to all customers when there are no reservations.
