IEEE Xplore Digital Library – access to high quality technical literature and other e-sources in electronics and computer science
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers' IEEE Electronic Library (IEL) is a major source to the literature of electrical engineering and information technology. IEL is accessible through the IEEE Xplore interface. IEEE Xplore interface and IEL are available for University of Oulu students and staff.
IEEE Xplore includes full-text articles from IEEE journals and conference papers, as well as IEEE standards. In addition, it is possible to find books and training courses through it.
IEEE Xplore also includes content from certain other publishers, e.g. Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), MIT Press, IBM, Nokia Bell Labs, VDE Verlag, Tsinghua University Press, American Geophysical Union (AGU), Oxford University Press (OUP), Beijing Institute of Aerospace Information (BIAI), now Publishers, River Publishers, Artech House, and Princeton University Press.
How to use IEEE Xplore?
IEL is accessible through the IEEE Xplore user interface on the University of Oulu network. Remote use of the user interface outside the university network is possible through Oula-Finna or the library's IEEE guide by logging in with the University of Oulu user ID (Haka-login).
