The international degree programmes at the Business School performed well in the joint application
There were six two-year master's programmes and a five-year bachelor's programme included in the application from the Oulu Business School. The reformed master's programme in economics, Responsible Economics and Finance, which emphasises responsibility in economic and financial analyses, was included as a new option.
As in the previous year, the master's programme in international business management (726 applicants) and the master's programme in business analytics (699 applicants) had the most applicants. Both study options were among the top three most popular at the University of Oulu.
Applicants to the Oulu Business School's international programmes in 2025:

- International Business Management, bachelor's and master's programme: 579

- Responsible Economics and Finance, master's programme: 93

The number of applications dropped significantly from last year. This change is most likely explained by the application fee charged to applicants for the first time. However, the proportion of applicants who applied primarily to the Oulu Business School's study options remained at the same level, around 35 percent. The final number of applications is likely to decrease further, as applicants have a week to pay the application fee, and unpaid applications will not be accepted.
Student selections for international programmes will be published no later than 28 May.
