Dear international student or researcher,

remember to use this chance and give us your honest feedback on the study experience you have had at the University of Oulu.

All the international exchange and degree students and post-graduate researchers (PhD students) have now received an invitation via email to give feedback on the University of Oulu through the International Student Barometer (ISB) survey.

Please make sure you reply to the survey by 16 December, 2024.

If you have not received the link to the survey, please contact opetuksenpalvelut@oulu.fi. The link has been sent to the email address you primarily use in your studies: usually it's the student.oulu.fi-address.

Meet us in the Festival of Cultures and get special prizes!

By completing the survey, you are entered into a raffle! We are giving away 5 sets of 5 movie tickets and 3 University sweatshirts to a few lucky respondents!

You can also come meet us in the Festival of Cultures event area! We will give special prices to the fastest survey respondents visiting our ISB stand on the Festival day, 21st of November. See you there!

Feedback makes a difference!

This is a great opportunity to tell us what’s working, what’s frustrating or what you think of your university experience here in Oulu so far. We use the results for various development efforts within the University. In the past, the ISB survey’s findings have been used to develop University staff trainings and launching new support services.

The results have also been shared with chosen university stakeholders such as the Student Union OYY and the student housing foundation in Oulu, PSOAS. Based on ISB results, PSOAS has e.g. increased the number of furnished apartments for international degree students. Before, furnished apartments were only available to exchange students.
