KiVANET network expands language offering at the University of Oulu
The University of Oulu has joined the KiVANET network, which organizes online courses in several different languages and in multilingual tandem learning. The network enables an even wider selection for students: KiVANET network offers, among others, courses in Spanish, French, Italian, German, Korean, Japanese, Estonian and Russian. The courses are open for free to all the degree students.
From the KiVANET network you can find a wide variety of language courses from A1 to C1 levels. The language course learning paths have been built based on digital pedagogics. Consistent learning paths that persist each term and year enable students to progress smoothly from one skill level to the next. Students can also deepen studies they have begun previously.
In addition to the language courses themselves, students can take part in UniTandem programme, which involves studying in pairs with students teaching a language they know well to other students.
Credits can be recognized as part of Language, Culture and Communication Studies. After you have completed your course, apply for recognition of learning. Instructions can be found here.
