Lecturer Jukka Hiltunen joins the university's Board of Directors
Lecturer Jukka Hiltunen will join the University of Oulu Board of Directors for the years 2023–2025. The matter was confirmed by the University Collegium at its meeting on 19 January 2023.
Riku Hietaniemi has resigned as a member of the Board as of January 1, 2023, because he is longer employed by the university. Based on the result of the 2021 administrative elections, the next person to join the Board is Hiltunen.
Student member Emma Hulkkonen has resigned as a member of the University Collegium, and Lotta Nikunen will take her place as a full member.
