Meri-Maija Ollila receives the prestigious Unto Uotila award for research in endocrinology
The Finnish Endocrine Society has awarded the distinguished Unto Uotila Award to Dr. Meri-Maija Ollila, PhD, MD. The award was presented at the Endodays event in Helsinki on October 31, 2024.

The €5,000 Unto Uotila Award is granted annually to a young researcher recognized for their achievements in the field of endocrinology.
Dr. Ollila is currently specializing in internal medicine at Oulu University Hospital. Her research focuses on topics such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), diabetes, and cardiovascular disease morbidity in women.
