New Adjunct Professors at the Oulu Business School

Postdoctoral researchers at the Oulu Business School, D.Sc. Marika Iivari, D.Sc. Anne Keränen, and D.Sc. Ilkka Ojansivu, gave their adjunct professorship demonstration lectures on 14 March at the University of Oulu.

Marika Iivari works in the Martti Ahtisaari Institute at the Oulu Business School. Her docentship is on digitalization and business analytics. Her demonstration lecture gave an overview of what business analytics is, and how digitalization and data have contributed to the development of data-driven decision-making in various organizational and industrial contexts.

Anne Keränen works in the Martti Ahtisaari Institute at the Oulu Business School. Her docentship is on responsible leadership and social sustainability. Her demonstration lecture focused on the need of human orientation when organizations engage in social sustainability activities. Focusing on people and relationships is needed in leadership to be sensitive to variety of responsibility and ethical issues which may arise from that engagement.

Ilkka Ojansivu works in the department of Marketing, Management, and International Business at the Oulu Business School. His docentship is on sustainable business relationships. His demonstration lecture focused on exploring sustainable business relationships from the social norms’ standpoint.
