New localized surface heating technology from VTT to adjust room temperature
The Warming Surfaces Company has developed a remotely controlled, digital heating system. Heating systems can be installed into interior materials, and it can reduce the carbon footprint and heating costs thanks to localized heating.
VTT Technical research center if Finland Ltd announces new spinout company – The Warming Surfaces Company Ltd. Company offers a digital, real-time heating system to the market. Fast heating response is based on the surface heating element withing interior materials, surfaces, and furnishing. The main benefit of using the surface heating is drastically reduced heating costs compared to slowly heating air and traditional bulky heating systems. Besides being more energy efficient, the system provides more control over heating intensity and area.
