Nominate a recipient for the 2023 Equality and Diversity Award by 1 October

Kuka on edistänyt tasa-arvoa ja yhdenvertaisuutta Oulun yliopiston opinnoissa, tutkimuksessa tai työympäristössä? Kuka on lisännyt tietoisuuttamme ja ymmärrystämme tasa-arvosta ja yhdenvertaisuudesta? Kuka on kehittänyt foorumeita, yhteistyömuotoja tai muita työkaluja tasa-arvon ja yhdenvertaisuuden edistämiseksi tai tuottanut uutta tietoa esimerkiksi sosiaaliseen mediaan?

Who has promoted diversity and equality in the University of Oulu studies, research or working environment? Who has successfully increased our awareness and understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion? Who has developed forums, forms of cooperation or other practices to promote diversity and equality, or produced new information for social media, for example?

Nominate a winner for the Equality and Diversity Award by Sunday 1 October 2023. Please send your nomination with a brief justification to the secretary of the Equality and Diversity Committee Taina Cooke: taina.cooke@oulu.fi. The nominations will be evaluated by the Equality and Diversity Committee in October. The award is a certificate of honor and it will be issued in November.

The University of Oulu has issued the Equality and Diversity Award since 2009, and it is issued annually for distinguished work on the promotion of equality and diversity. The award can be issued to a person, staff or student group, unit, administrative body or an association.
