We are now looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher on Intelligence Augmentation Technologies for a three-year fixed-term position to contribute to our Hybrid Intelligence (HI) Research Programme at the University of Oulu (Finland). The postdoctoral researcher position will be within the Faculty of Information Technology and Electronic Engineering.
About the job
We are especially seeking candidates who align with the strategic goal of advancing the renewal of the University of Oulu's scientific profile.
We are calling for proposals dealing with the Extended human mind in multi-realities theme (HI-3) including but not limited to:
- Virtual, mixed, and augmented reality technologies;
- Artificial intelligence (AI) methods for extending human perception;
- Spatial AI technologies for perception, interpretation, and interaction;
- Sensor fusion for processing spatial data;
- Intelligence augmentation for extending human capabilities;
- Virtual assistants.
We expect these temporary positions will contribute to the Hybrid Intelligence research program themes regarding new research results, publications, and/or research funding proposals.
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will:
- Engage in writing and submitting applications for research funding contributing to the HI research.
- Collaborate closely with the HI program and researchers involved in the program and contribute to HI research publications.
- Actively participate in HI scientific program activities and development.
