The course is divided into three sections that cover sustainability, diversity and inclusion and open science.
After completing the course, you will understand
- what aspects related to sustainability, diversity and inclusion are – or could be – relevant to your research project and how can you strengthen these perspectives in your own research.
- principles of Open Science in project preparation, data management and FAIR principles, reproducibility, publication strategies (including open licenses, choosing publication channels and repositories, avoiding predatory journals), and research dissemination as well as their role in research assessment and broader academic evaluation.
Enrolment is open in Peppi until 30.4.2025, The course is completed as self-study on the Moodle platform.
Course includes 7 assignments that must be successfully completed. The primary teaching language is English, but the assignments can also be answered in Finnish.
