The students at the University of Oulu can apply up to 5000 € funding for prototyping and testing their business ideas. Oulun Funding needs to be used latest by the end of November or graduation.

Oulu's biggest and most beautiful startup event during the year. At Polar Vear Pitching, the entrepreneurs pitch their businesses to the jury, investors, and the audience from a real ice hole. Over the years, a lot of side events from different themes have developed around the main event

Startup Weekend (21.-23.3.)
Do you want to build a new startup company over a weekend and earn credits at the same time (the amount depends on your current studies)? A free six-week online program held in the afternoons, where you will learn to turn your idea or side project into reality. The program originates from the Finnish startup network and is open to everyone interested.

BUSINESS CORNER CO-WORK and related content:
Business Corner serves as the entrepreneurship community at Linnanmaa, and Co-work is a meeting place for entrepreneurial students and doers. Come have a cup of coffee at Co-work and chat with like-minded people. Entrepreneurship coaches are on duty in the space on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 to 11:30.
Members get access to the Co-work space 24/7 (you need a campus 24/7 access card), expert coaching, a newsletter, and information about upcoming events and training.

Founder's Corner (Program starts February 4)
In the Founder's Corner startup program, you will build a digital business under guidance and develop your entrepreneurial skills. We will go through how to solve customer problems with web-based services, how to convince them in seconds, how customers find your service on the internet, and how to actually make money by spring. The program is in Finnish at Business Corner. Participants can earn incubator study credits.
