Student feedback event gathered nearly 900 responses
As a thank you for the feedback, participants were awarded with jumpsuit badges sponsored by the university. A big thank you also to all the guild members who were present at the stands and helped to promote the event! The feedback event also included a fun inter-guild feedback competition. Oulun Teekkariyhdistys took the win and the prize! The different numbers of students in the organizations were considered in the scoring.
At the university, course feedback is discussed in various bodies where student members also have a say. These include, for example, the Degree Programme Committee, the Education Committee, the Education Management Group and the Education Council. Feedback processes are also being continuously developed. Student feedback is therefore an essential part of the development of education. It informs how education should be developed to ensure that it is of sufficient quality. OYY and students are committed to promoting and strengthening the student feedback culture. Similarly, the University must make an effort to promote the use of feedback and continuously demonstrate to students the importance of feedback at our University.
The next feedback event will take place in spring 2025 and will be developed based on this fall's launch. OYY encourages students to actively provide feedback and to also request feedback on their own academic performance to support genuine development.
