Here is what those organizer teams had to say about their experiences with the funding application and why they suggest you apply! Application is open until the 5th of May, instructions below.
"We are grateful for the support and assistance we received from the university in organizing this Iranian New Year celebration. Their commitment to diversity and cultural exchange has made it possible for us to share the joy and beauty of Nowruz with the wider community in Oulu. It has been a wonderful experience to collaborate with the university, and we hope to continue building bridges of understanding and friendship through cultural events like this."

"The Bottom-up Initiatives funding, together with the support from the Talent Boost Team, has allowed me to step out of my comfort zone, discover my own strengths and weaknesses, as well as given me the unique opportunity to organise a fun Easter event at Kontinkangas that brings to University community closer together."

“Establishing the Cycling Club at the university allowed me to contribute to cultures of health and wellness within our university community. It helped me make new friends and offer everyone a fun and inclusive way to stay active and engaged. I always received more support from the Bottom-up Initiatives team than I expected and I highly recommend applying if you want to bring your event or idea to life. “
