Oulu 3D single particle analysis facility

The Oulu 3D Single Particle Analysis facility is established at the Faculty of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine, University of Oulu. The research infrastructure is based on already existing local instrumentation and expertise, which is now strengthened by the purchase of a cryo-electron transmission microscope used for structural studies of single particles. The facility can be used to study structures of nanoparticles including biological macromolecules and their complexes, lipid vesicles, membrane structures as well as natural and engineered nanoparticles.
