Project description
Conventional diagnostic approaches are resource and carbon intensive. Raman spectroscopy enables culture-free detection, identification and antibiotic susceptibility testing directly from the sample. In this multidisciplinary project, we compare the diagnostic accuracy of time-resolved Raman spectroscopy with traditional diagnostic approaches in clinical microbiology.
Project results
Our multidisciplinary project is carried out in cooperation between Nordlab and two different faculties. The research results can be used for the development of new cold-free methods.
