Research group description
In the Wildlife Genomics Research Group, we are an international team dedicated to studying ecological, evolutionary, and conservation issues related to wildlife using molecular methods. Our current research focuses on topics such as the history of animal domestication, the genetic impacts of post-glacial recolonization processes, habitat fragmentation, and studies involving environmental DNA (eDNA) and ancient DNA (aDNA) approaches. We work with a variety of species, including birds, mammals, and plants.
