Large language models (LLMs) have recently gained momentum in the Artificial Intelligence community, contributing to significant achievements in language generation tasks, often outperforming traditional natural language processing methods, in text summarization, dialog summarizing, question-answer systems, query systems, word-sense disambiguation, named-entity recognition, and dialogue systems.
The use of LLMs in healthcare seeks to address these difficulties by automating data processing, reducing administrative workload, providing real-time predictive analytics, and assisting in keeping healthcare practitioners current on the latest medical research.
