I am a doctoral researcher at the Diversity in Education (DivE) research group, and I am currently working in the project “Developmental and situational dynamics of students’ emotions, math performance and well-being”. My PhD project seeks to investigate longitudinal patterns of students’ emotions, well-being and math performance from grade 4th to 5th and trace emotional states as they arise while working on a math task using facial expression recognition analysis. Data collection for this project is connected with the 4-year Academy of Finland consortium project iFeelMath.
